Yumminess Straight from the Basement!

Reach for a cup of our butter beer tea blend and your favorite JK Rowling book for the perfect "me time"! Inspired by our favorite keeper of creatures, this yummy buttered beer tea will delight your taste buds and take you to the express train right to Hagrid's basement for more!

Our butter beer tea blend is a caffeinated cup that starts with a black tea with natural and artificial butterscotch flavors. Add in some caramel pieces (sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, whey powder, sugar), and our own butter beer sugar (organic cane sugar, natural and sugar-free vanilla, creme soda, and butternut flavor powders), and we're almost there! But, we can't forget our secret ingredient: hops! Yes, you read that correctly, our secret ingredient is hops, the female flowers from the Humulus Lupulus, a species of plant in the Cannabaceae family.

Hops aren't just for alcoholic beer brewing anymore. The powder inside the flowering cones has been used by brewers since the 9th century. The sought-after ingredient is the oil produced by called lupulin. This oil is activated by water when added to our tea blend and provides just a bit of floral earthiness. Hops have even been used medicinally for anxiety, tension, and insomnia. Who knew a little green cone of dried flowers could be so versatile!

What else is Hagrid brewing in the basement? Probably nothing, but that doesn't mean that the magical creatures in the basement aren't running around high on caffeine!

Oh, we almost forgot to mention that we have also added some lightning bolt sprinkles to Hagrid's Basement Brew, just because we like sprinkles and it pays homage to Hagrid's favorite student!
