Buffy, Tea, and Mr. Pointy!

Stakes & Stones is a coconut almond black tea that reminds us of sitting at a sidewalk cafe, people-watching (only the tea-drinking vampires, of course) drinking tea and eating coconut macarons. What a beautiful picture that is, and it goes right along with our beautiful coconut black tea blend.

Stakes & Stones begins with a smooth Organic Purple Bamboo Black tea. To this unique base tea, we've added roasted coconut, coconut flakes and chips, apple, pineapple, freeze-dried marzipan pieces (almond, sugar), freeze-dried yogurt pieces (skim milk, sugar), coconut flavoring, and sweet blackberry leaf. The coconut is not overwhelming, so don't be afraid to give it a try, you are going to love it!

Purple Bamboo Black Tea is a bit of a misnomer. There is no bamboo and the tea is not really purple (as least not as defined on the color wheel). The leaves of this unique tea come from very, very old trees in Yunnan and are naturally tinged with violet (which gives them somewhat of a purplish leaf color). This gives a sweet floral character to the blend, adding a bright, fresh character to the coconut.
