This dragon fruit green tea blend is inspired by Daenerys Targaryen from the HBO series Game of Thrones, and George R.R. Martin’s larger than life series.
They brought back dragons in epic fashion. Daenerys goes into fire with 3 dragon eggs and survives with the added bonus of 3 dragon hatchlings. Now, they are totally cute and adorable, but they grow up so fast. While everyone was rooting for Dany, it was only a matter of time before Mommy used dragon fire to burn everything to the ground.
This green tea blend of dragon fruit and roses as beautiful as our Khaleesi tells the story of a frightened young girl that grows into the Mad Queen, that only wanted to be feared by her people. With its unique fruit flavor, a delightful hint of floral, and soft sugar pearls, first and foremost, it reminds us of Dany’s softer side.
Dragon fruit has an extremely delicate, lightly sweet, almost tropical taste. It is a great source of vitamin C and potassium, it is high in fiber, low in cholesterol, and rich in antioxidants. Dragon fruit is also known as pitaya and grows on the Hylocereus cactus, whose flowers only open at night. The scaly outer skin of the dragon fruit is said to resemble dragon scales, which makes it the perfect ingredient for this refreshing tea blend. Even a Khaleesi needs a perfect cup of tea at the end of a long day, as she wonders "What part of 'Mother of Dragons' did they not understand?"
