Elderflowers are used in wine and liquor, because they taste so good. It is very easy to completely ignore the fact that elderflower and elderberries are good for you. From the amazing anti-inflammatory properties to the high level of antioxidants as well as their natural cold and flu fighting properties.

We’ve added freeze-dried blackberries for a sweet tartness, blackberry leaves to add a mild fruity flavor, and honey granules for a bit of natural sweetness. And for those seeking a bit more sweetness, we created an elderflower sugar that pairs a little too perfectly with this tea.

Bai Mu Dan is a Chinese tea also known as White Peony. White tea is one of the most delicate varieties of tea, as the processing is kept to a minimum. Because of its delicate nature, it is very important to follow the steeping instructions provided. If the water is too hot, or it is steeped too long, it can release some bitterness that is unpleasant. If you do not have a thermometer or temperature-controlled kettle, try to use water that is just under a simmer. Also, refrain from adding any additional milk and sugar in order to enjoy the delicate and subtle flavors of this white tea.
