Tribble Troubles

I LOVED Tribbles on Star Trek. Makes me think about time spent with my dad. The whole reason for purchasing. Will definitely try steeping this as a fridge tea.

Nice herbal mix. I didn't drink this for my allergies, but it was a nice side benefit.

I tried this tea when I was having a horrible time with seasonal allergies, and I'm thoroughly impressed. The scent and color are lovely, and flavor is delicious. Best of all, it actually helps my allergies! I could see this replacing meds on my lighter symptom days, and it helps a lot in conjunction with the meds on days when I'm in allergy-sinus misery. Easily the most pleasant way I've ever found to help mitigate my allergies.

I was skeptical that this would actually work against my seasonal allergies. I mostly got it because I love Star Trek. But the other day I went into a full sneezing fit and half my face felt like it would explode from the congestion. By the time I finished my first cup, my symptoms were actually easing. Now not only am I buying it for myself, I bought a sample for my Trekkie dad to try!

I have been drinking Sleepytime Sinus Soothers tea on a daily basis for about a year now for both my sinuses and because I liked the taste. I have allergies, but do not like to take medication if I can avoid it and the tea helped a bit. I stumbled across this company when searching for high quality nettle tea since I figured the quality of the herbs in the Sleepytime Tea probably wasn't the greatest, and decided to give this a try once I read the ingredients. The tea is great, I really like the taste and now the Sinus Soother tea that I loved so much tastes like a sad, watered down substitute.
I'm not going to sit here and claim that this product is as effective as taking a Pseudoephedrine based allergy medicine, it does make a noticable difference in the swelling and itchy eyes/nose I get when my allergies are acting up without having to deal with the jitters and dehydration that I get from the medicine.
