Lemon Sugar and Tea, a Perfect Match

Tea and lemon are two things that have been paired together since before our grandparents were children. Whether you prefer sweet or unsweetened tea, or hot vs. iced tea, chances are at one time or another, you have added lemon to your tea! We decided to make it easy on you, and add the lemon to the sugar, so that you can have both sweet and lemony goodness at the same time.

We take organic cane sugar and infuse it with the zest of large, tangy, lemons for a week, then add a bit of lemon juice to take it up a notch. Occasionally you will find a bit of zest floating in your tea, which just makes the entire experience of drinking a cup of tea with lemon that much better. Sweet lemon this sure is good!

Like the rest of our infused sugars, this one is packaged in a 50g bag and double sealed, including a resealable zipper. Depending on how sweet and tangy you like it, we recommend starting with a teaspoon of sugar per cup and adjust up or down from there.

This is my top favorite of all the tea sugars because it is so delicious and versatile. I add this to so many of my teas: English Breakfast, Seventh Doctor, Tigger's Tummy Tamer, Gold Cup Chai, the list just keeps on going! It gives just the right touch of sweet, tangy lemon. I also like the larger sugar crystal size since I can add it directly to my tea infuser and it doesn't sift through the mesh.
