Rise from the Ashes is an herbal blend with Rooibos, licorice, peppermint, spearmint, marshmallow leaf, marshmallow root, apples, pears, chamomile, and natural pear flavor.
Jean Grey is arguably the strongest mutant in the X-Men universe and with this blend, we pay tribute to a strong, superheroine that is capable of fiery transformation on a cosmic level. You can experience your own transformation with our Rise from the Ashes tea blend as it sends your taste buds on a flavor whirlwind. While you may be more familiar with the movie life of Dark Phoenix, give the original X-Men comics a read, they are a real treat!
A reminder that Rooibos is native to South Africa and does not come from the Camellia sinensis plant. You cannot over-steep rooibos and its natural bit of sweetness that presents itself as vanilla and/or caramel is a nice addition to your cup. Rooibos should always be stored away from light and in an airtight container just like your tea. It will go stale (it usually takes a couple of years), but it will happen. So, if you have had any rooibos sitting in your cabinet and your tea tastes a bit musty, it's time to get a new batch of rooibos tea!
Rise from the Ashes is part of our custom tea blend program and was created to provide a soothing tea blend that would not interact adversely with bladder conditions.
This blend is caffeine-free.
