To tell the truth, though, that is kind of how we feel about our 'What the Flerk?' Rooibos almond and papaya tea blend. It looks harmless enough, but we packed it with almonds and papaya. When brewed the nuttiness of the almonds and the tropical papaya flavor jumps out at you like Goose on a springboard, but in a good way. The secret is our Amaretto infused sugar which pulls the flavors out and takes this tea blend over the edge. After your first sip, you will be looking at your cup saying "What the Flerk?" It's okay, we totally get it!
Experts say that you should drink 6 cups of Rooibos a day to maximize the benefits of this amazing plant. The naturally hydrating, soothing, and gentle nature of blends made with Rooibos makes for a great healthy diet. In addition, the low tannins in Rooibos and the fact that it is naturally caffeine-free allows you to enjoy a nice cuppa any time of the day or night. Want to kick it up to 'superhero' level? Try cold-brewing it and adding a splash of your favorite Amaretto liqueur for a papaya tea cocktail that is flerking amazing!
