A "Moistly Harmless" Herbal Tea Blend
Meet our new herbal relaxing tea blend, Taricha Extra-Sleepytime Tea, that is inspired by a new comic written by Ethan Kocik, titled "Moistly Harmless". This tea blend is a caffeine-free relaxing herbal blend that is a bit fruity with a very subtle hint of spiciness.
"Moistly Harmless" is a book all about newts and salamanders. One of those species is the genus 'Taricha', which is a highly toxic group of newt species. There is an urban legend saying that some campers accidentally boiled one of these newts into their tea (and it did not end well), which prompted scientists to look into this species and confirmed that there is truth to the fiction - they are indeed very deadly. This story is featured in the book and is the impetus for our Taricha Extra-Sleepytime Tea.
This blend is full of chamomile, apples, ginger, hibiscus, freeze dried pomegranate, freeze dried sour cherries, dragonfruit, beetroot, anise seed, carrots, orange peel, sweet blackberry leaf, lemongrass, coriander, cardamom, almonds, and natural pomegranate flavor.
While this blend may not make you drowsy, it definitely will relax you and put you in the mood for a nice read before calling it a night. Be sure to steep this for 5-10 minutes at just under a rolling boil to bring out its smorgasbord of flavors.
