A Frozen Inspired Black Tea Blend

This black tea blend is inspired by Elsa, the larger than life snow queen, and her icy kingdom Arendelle in Disney’s Frozen.

Elsa, the icy Disney princess draws little girls in with her magical and wondrous powers. Her curse was a storm inside of her that created snow and ice. Most of the time, this might not seem so bad. For example, she did create Olaf and the story definitely would not be the same without him. Other times, when her emotions run high, she has a tendency to do a bit more damage, such as turning an entire castle into ice.

It is likely that all Elsa really needs is a cup of this tea blend with vanilla and peppermint. Peppermint can relieve stress and anxiety, which definitely is a requirement if you are going to be in Arendelle for the entire winter. Careful though, Elsa may turn this vanilla tea with a lingering icy peppermint finish into a snow cone or a slushy. On second thought, that actually doesn’t sound too bad.

It probably isn’t a good idea to give a hot cup of ‘Winter in Arendelle’ to Olaf (even though he insists it is worth melting for), but maybe we should pass the cup on to that grouchy snow giant Marshmallow (sorry kids, just kidding).

Vanilla and peppermint are a great pairing. We took it a step further and added some blue and white snowflake sugar sprinkles just because they are fun. Ok, ok, they also add a little hint of sweet and creamy goodness to the blend. Once winter passes, enjoy this black tea blend iced, it brings out the vanilla but still leaves you with a finish of minty goodness.
