Time for a True English Breakfast Extra Fancy Cuppa!
Our English Breakfast Extra Fancy is a blend of full leaf black teas from India, Sri Lanka, and China. This results in a rich cup of tea that is robust, rich, and very satisfying tasting breakfast blend perfect enough to drink every morning and hearty enough to drink in the afternoon. This blend is made to hold up superbly to milk and sugar.
The prominence of English breakfast tea is thought to have originated with Queen Anne in the 1700s, using straight China black tea. It continues to be a wildly popular tea across the world and many may think that it is the same wherever you may go. This could not be farther from the truth. While it typically is a blend made up of 2-3 different black teas, the combination used by each tea maker can vary greatly. Not only does the variation of the black teas differ, but the proportion of each black tea used in a particular blend can differ as well. It also is uniquely different from its other breakfast counterparts, the Irish breakfast blend, and the Scottish breakfast blend.
Our English Breakfast Extra Fancy blend will give your mornings a boost thanks to its caffeine and when brewed it should give you a full-bodied cup that is hearty without being bitter. Be sure to also give it a try cold-brewed for a real afternoon treat!
For us here at Happy Turtle Tea, we love to sit down with a cup of English Breakfast Extra Fancy as it brings back many fond memories of that first-morning cuppa when visiting London.

Absolutely perfect! I could tell from the moment I opened by sample package that this was going to be another hit. This tastes and smells exactly the way a great English Breakfast should. It reminds me of the tea my mom and grandmother always drank when I was little. Add a little lemon, a little sugar, for an even more heavenly taste. it’s going to be perfect for traditional iced tea this summer too (the one kind of tea I can actually get my husband to drink!).

A great, simple English breakfast tea! Excited to try it cold brewed with some lemon as suggested in other reviews 🙂
